Charlotte Landreau, International Baccalaureate Coordinator & Teacher

    Charlotte Landreau is the IB Diploma coordinator at Highland Park Senior.  She currently teaches 11th grade IB History of the Americas and also Theory of Knowledge, the capstone class in the IB program here, which is open to 12th grade Diploma and Honors students. 

    Landreau has taught at HPSH since 1994, and became IB Coordinator in 2001. She has also taught  20th Century International History, Liberal Arts History and Geography.  Prior to teaching in St Paul Landreau taught for six years in San Juan, Puerto Rico and got her teaching license at the University of New Mexico.  She majored in Cultural Anthropology at Macalester College, and earned an MPA degree at the Hubert Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.

    Currently Landreau advises the Senior Class Council and National Honor Society.  She has served on Citizen's League Study Committees, as a committee member for the SAT II US History Tests, President of IBMN, and as an IB History Assistant Examiner.  Her interests outside the fascinating world of public education include dance, Latin American fiction, and any outdoor activity.
