Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth
The Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth (MITY) gives bright, intellectually curious teenagers in grades seven through twelve a chance to spend time in an exciting, challenging atmosphere focused on hands-on learning, shared experiences and building friendships. All courses are held on the Macalester College campus. Courses include journalism, speech, acting, math, music, physics, and much, much more. Visit www.mity.org for details.


Sarah Lawrence College Programs for High School Students
Are you a student who is passionate about learning? Do you spend all of your free time in activities that will help cultivate those passions? This summer, Sarah Lawrence College offers and exciting program of residential courses in theatre, visual arts, and Summer in the City, as well as evening classes in poetry, screenwriting, story/expository writing, and science.

Students in residential programs will have a taste of college life. Their evenings and weekends will be filled with activities held on campus as well as all that New York City and the surrounding communities have to offer. Carnegie Mellon Summer Pre-College Programs

Are you going to be a junior or senior in high school? If so, consider spending June 27 to August 7, 2009 in one of Carnegie Mellon's seven distinct Pre-College programs. You can either explore architecture, art, design, drama, music or the National High School Game Academy to prepare yourself for study at the college level. Through the Advanced Placement/Early Action program, you can take two challenging college courses in order to gain advanced placement and get a head start in college.

Carnegie Mellon's Pre-College programs will show you what life at the school is all about - from the classroom to what's happening on weekends. You'll meet people from all over the world, be inspired by our world-renowned faculty, take part in the excitement of campus life and have the opportunity to explore the city of Pittsburgh.
