A little about Ms. Haugen I am a graduate of Highland Park Senior High.  After high school, I attended and graduated from Bethel College, where I majored in secondary education, specializing in physical sciences. Following college, I taught 8th grade at Hazel Park Middle School for 7 years.  I was teaching Earth Science and Inquiry Science, while also coaching girls' soccer, basketball and badminton.  During that time, I earned my Masters of Education at Hamline University. Outside of teaching I am coaching the 9th grade girls' basketball team and co-advising Student Council.  In the evenings, I teach as an adjunct instructor in the education department at Bethel University.  I currently teach Physics and 9th grade science.
