The school (except for the field house) will be locked and not accessible starting on June 13. The building will not "reopen" until August 11.

Main Office: closes June 12 and will re-open on August 11.
Athletic Director: in Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Counseling Office: Open in Field House Wednesdays from 8 to 12

HP was recognized as one of the country's top high schools by Newsweek and the Washington Post in the Challenge Index 2008. The index measures a high school’s effort to challenge its students. The formula is simple: Divide the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Cambridge tests a school gave by the number of seniors who graduated in May.
